2017 has arrived with a vengeance…And we’ve all the right beers for this time of year. Plus we’ve a very special limited release from Crux Fermentation Project that you may need to get your sweaty little hands on.
A Pacific Crest Trail Ale (Bend, OR) – Crux Fermentation Project has just released a beer inspired by and dedicated to the legendary Pacific Crest Trail a scenic and grueling 2,650 mile hike the spans much of the West Coast. Crux PCT Porter is an impossibly robust 5.5% refresher that’s both a homage and a pleasure.
Uppers & Downers (Longmont, CO / Brevard, NC / Austin, TX) – Oskar Blues has brewed up an eye-opening refresher that’s also serves as a relaxing respite. Oskar Blues Hotbox Coffee IPA is a symphony of Simcoe hops tempered with Ethiopian coffee beans from Hotbox Roasters, sourced from a family farm in the East Africa exclusively for this beer.
Ginned Up (Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing has just introduced a new Stone Imperial Seasonal that also takes its lead from gin botanicals. Stone Jindia Pale Ale is an 8.7% ABV Double IPA infused with exotic botanicals reminiscent of gin that meld perfectly with a citrusy hop backbone.
Double Trouble (Victor, ID) – Grand Teton Brewing recently debuted the latest addition to their uber-cool Brewers’ Series and interestingly enough, it’s a lager. Grand Teton Double Vision is a complex and silken 11% Doppelbock that was aged for ten months in 7-year-old bourbon barrels. Yesssssssss!
Giving Up The Ghost (Athens, GA) – Creature Comforts Beer recently released the latest from their Taproom Only Can Series and it was brewed using an exciting new German hop. Crisp, clean and intensely aromatic, Creature Comforts Green Ghost is a 4.9% dry hopped Pilsner made with Grüngeist hops.
